CryptoMAS Services Datasheet

Unlike traditional server based authentications systems, CRYPTO-MAS is a fully managed and resilient service that offers a number of instant benefits.  Firstly, with no servers to purchase, no IT training required, no network implementation to undertake, it is easy to see how capital costs are reduced and how the two factor authentication can be deployed instantly – with no complex integration.

Secondly, CRYPTO-MAS takes all the complexity out of implementation and on-going support and so frees helpdesk and system administrator resources to turn their attention to other pressing matters. A CRYPTO-MAS implementation can be carried out in just a few hours compared to days for a traditional server based solution.

  • Flexible payment schedules. Our “token inclusive” pricing means that unlike other solutions, there is no need to purchase tokens separately.  Making CRYPTO-MAS a true OPEX based model – ideal for partners and end users.
  • Flexibility of security options. We believe we offer more security policy options than any other provider by delivering PIN and One-Time-Password options that take you up to Base64 – the most secure option you can get.  Customers can also decide which algorithm’s they wish to deploy– meaning we conform to the clients existing security policies and network nfrastructure, not the other way round.  Both points are increasingly essential as compliance standards evolve.
  • Industry-leading TCO.  CRYPTOCard’s tokens can be purchased inclusive of the service or purchased up front.  Unlike other vendors, there is no “Expiry date” on the tokens – which mean you have to physically replace their tokens every 3 years.
  • No hidden costs. all software components and applications are included at no extra cost.
  • Quality. Gives us the confidence to offer 5 Year warranty on our KT1 and RB tokens – the longest of any vendor.
  • Simplicity. Ease of use through the simple management portal and an easy to use self-service portal – leading to greater user acceptance.
  • Choice.  CRYPTO-MAS can be used with traditional key chain tokens, calculator style devices, software tokens, Blackberry tokens and SMS based mobile phone tokens.  No other vendor provides such variety within a managed service.
  • Reliability. CRYPTOCard uses event based not time based token technology removing synchronization issues and account lock outs – essential when used within a VPN or remote access network.
