Precision technology for Voice over IP call analysis

VoIPView is a tool for Network Managers and administrators with responsibility for the delivery of Voice over IP services.

Providing voice call analysis and problem trouble shooting, VoIPView enables managers to comply with service legislation requirements (such as Lawful Intercept). Implemented as a feature module for DBAM's Precision traffic shaping and bandwidth management devices, VoIPView helps ensure the voice service.

VoIPView is supported by Precision EP600, EP6000 and EP60000 devices, and:

• Displays real time call traces, holds call records, call status and call setup time
• Provides a call sequence, between different network elements, in the form of a ladder diagram
• Has drill down capabilities from the call trace or call sequence diagram to individual messages
• Supports VoIP protocols including SIP, H245, Skinny (Cisco proprietary) and other network protocols
• Retains call data- enables compliance with LEA requirements
• Allows call data to be redirected to other storage devices.
