Courses Overview

StoneGate Firewall and VPN Fundamentals and Implementation Course will enable students to understand the problems caused by network devices/components being a single point of failure and explain how StoneGate solves those problems. This intensive 3-day course will also introduce the StoneGate firewall features including the advanced high availability features such as firewall and VPN gateway traffic. Exam Certification: StoneGate Firewall Architect (SGFWA)

StoneGate FW and VPN Fundamentals and Implementation Course

StoneGate SSL VPN Fundamentals and Implementation Course will enable students to learn the basics of SSL VPN, including where and when SSL VPN communication should be used. StoneGate SSL VPN course is a two-day introduction to the world of SSL VPN and it will give the students an overview of all the major features of StoneGate SSL VPN. The course will be divided into units each containing a presentation on a specific topic and a classroom exercise, which will exemplify the theoretical part of the unit. Exam Certification: StoneGate SSL VPN Architect (SGSSLA).

StoneGate SSL VPN Fundamentals and Implementation Course

StoneGate IPS Course will enable students to learn the basics of network attacks, intrusion detection and prevention, including where and why network sensors and analyzers are used. StoneGate IPS course will provide a 3-day introduction to the world of intrusion detection and it will give students an overview of all the major features of StoneGate IPS.

StoneGate IPS Course

StoneGate Management Center (SMC) Course will enable students to learn the basics of the StoneGate platform including the SMC Components (StoneGate Management Server, StoneGate Log Server and StoneGate Web Portal Server), and the graphical interfaces (Management Client). In addition, students will be given an overall picture of the Firewall, IPS and VPN products that are centrally managed by the SMC. Exam Certification: StoneGate Administrator (SGSMCA)
