I've just been reading an interesting article published by Anton Chuvakin around application security monitoring. The Gartner blog article also had comments from Ivan Ristic around web application firewalls and this gave the piece further interest as I met Ivan a few year back at a security event in Surrey. Both these guys are heavy weights in the security field that I've had sound information from in the past and it's great to read up on any material they produce.
This article was certainly well timed as I have been hearing lots about these very services this week and found that Assuria has a long list of UK enterprise customers that are being supported by a managed service partner. It tends to give me a further kick up the arse when I hear technology that I know is being used to deliver services that I'm reading about in articles so I'm going to have to review this option with several integrator customers of ours to see what can be done.
